PeaceDove Press is committed to the promotion of peace, justice, sustainability, equity, compassion and creativity.  To those ends, PeaceDove Press seeks to assist authors of like mind to publish works that embrace diversity, respect all humans, animals and the planet and celebrate the beauty and wisdom of nature.

PeaceDove Press publishes fiction, non-fiction, poetry and children’s books.  Color books – art and photography are also welcome.  Authors retain all rights to their manuscript.

Services We Do and Don’t Provide

·         We provide conversion of your raw file to a print ready format

·         We provide cover design and layout ready to print

·         We provide guidance on book block layout  - size and layout of your book

·         We provide original illustration

·         We provide the option to sell your book via the PeaceDovePress website*

·         We don’t provide editorial assistance

·         We don’t provide marketing assistance 

 *PeaceDove Press reserves the right to discontinue sale or listing of a title from the website at any time.


What we Don’t Publish:

·         Religious books

·         Mysteries or Crime

·         Erotica

·         Action/Adventure

and anything we don’t want to publish.

PeaceDove Press reserves the right to refuse any manuscript for any reason.

 
The first submission should adhere to the following guidelines:


1.      The manuscript should be first be submitted as a spiral bound, printed copy.  Please do not mail unbound, loose pages.  Do not submit pages inserted into a binder. 

2.      The manuscript should be complete

3.      The manuscript should be edited and spell-checked.  In other words, this should be a near final copy of your work.

4.     The manuscript should be sent with a cover sheet containing the following information:

·         Author s full, real name and address (not a P.O. Box)

·         Valid email address

·         Valid contact telephone number

·         List of other published work, if any, and the name it is published under

·         Indicate if the manuscript you’re submitting has been published elsewhere/before.

·         Indicate what format(s) you’re considering for publication – ebook, hardcover, perfect bound, CD.

·         Is the manuscript being submitted by an author or agent? Provide full names of both

·         Assumed audience?

·         Price for book?

If you are unsure which format or price to choose for the book at this time, just indicate you are unsure.

Submitted materials will NOT be returned even if you enclose a return envelope.
